Division of Labor is Vital to Planning a Successful Wedding

One of the lessons we’ve learned so far is that it’s crucial to divide up labor in a fair and equitable way that caters to each of our specific talents and inclinations:

Christy: contacting venues, caterers, photographers; visiting dress shops, cake shops, setting up appointments; scheduling; asking questions; tracking budget; wrangling with guest list.

Jenn, Ashley: All of the above plus online research, and eBay bids; providing advice, directions, and soothing words; and referring us to potential photographers, vendors, and officials.

Dan: driving, buying sandwiches, thinking about booze.

Teamwork—that's what it's all about.

Welcome

So . . . yeah, we're getting married. Someday. We're not sure when or where, and I suspect that by now Christy is also wondering why . . . but at some yet-to-be determined location, at a time that will eventually be specified, there'll be a wedding. And if you know us, and actually like us, there's a chance you'll be there.

All the popular kids are using the internet these days, so we figured we might as well give it a shot, too. I don't know if this qualifies me to use the word blogosphere without sounding pretentious, but, then, who can use that word without sounding pretentious?

But that's a subject better suited for somebody else's blog about other things. This is here to keep you all informed about our wedding. So as of right now, you know everything there is to know about it. More details to come . . . but don't hold your breath.
